Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal information Reinert Images collects when you browse this site, contact us, or place an order, and how that information is used. Placing an order, submitting the contact form, or otherwise providing information to us means you have read and understood this notice.

Information collected at checkout. When you place an order we collect your name, email address, and shipping address, along with the details of what you ordered (image, size, media, and quantity). We use this information to process, produce, package, and ship your order, to send you order confirmations and shipping updates, and to respond if you contact us about an order.

Payment information. Card payments are processed by Square, our payment processor. Card numbers and other payment details are entered directly into Square's secure payment form and are never transmitted to, or stored on, our own servers.

Cookies. This site uses a small number of cookies required for it to function — most importantly, a cookie that remembers the contents of your shopping cart between page views so you don't lose your selections. We do not currently use cookies or scripts for advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking you across other websites. If that ever changes, we will update this notice before any such cookie is set.

How information is shared. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We share the minimum information necessary with the vendors who help us run this business — for example, Square for payment processing, and, for orders fulfilled through an outside print lab rather than in-house, the shipping details and image needed to produce and ship that order.

How long we keep it. We retain order records for as long as reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, warranty, and customer-service purposes.

Your choices. You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by reaching out through the contact page. We will honor that request except where we are required to keep certain records, such as for tax purposes.

Changes to this notice. We may update this notice from time to time as the site or our practices change. The version posted here is the current one.
